1. Who we are and scope

These terms apply to every order placed through seowebstar.com with seowebstar, Trittligasse 24, 8001 Zürich, Switzerland (“we”, “us”). They apply to businesses. By placing an order you accept them, together with the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

2. Services and packages

Each package, its scope, price and turnaround is as shown on the website when you order. What is not listed as included is not part of the package. We may offer additional work under a separate written scope and price.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) and exclude MWST (8.1% at the date of these terms), which is added at checkout. One-off projects: 50% is due when you order, the balance on delivery, payable within 14 days of invoice. Monthly packages: the first month is charged when you order and then monthly. The Priority kickoff fee, if chosen, is due with the order.

4. Start dates

Standard kickoff starts within 10 business days of your order, Priority kickoff within 3 business days. Turnaround times count from the day we have received the access we need. Delays caused by missing access, approvals or content move our dates accordingly.

5. Your responsibilities

You give us accurate information, the access we ask for (read access to Search Console and analytics), and a contact who can decide and reply within two business days. You are responsible for changes made on your own website and for having the right to use the content and data you give us.

6. No guarantee of results

Search engines and AI products are controlled by third parties and change often. We do not guarantee any ranking, traffic, citation, enquiry or revenue. We commit to delivering the work listed in your package and to reporting on it honestly.

7. Retainers

Monthly packages have a minimum term shown on the package: 3 months, or 6 months for Authority. After the minimum term, either party may end the agreement with 30 days’ written notice to the end of a month. Email is sufficient. Fees for months already started are not refunded. Volumes stated for a month (for example, pages and articles) do not roll over to later months.

9. Intellectual property

When we have received payment for a period, the deliverables we created for you in that period (reports, content, tickets, strategy documents) are yours to use. Our methods, tools, templates and know-how remain ours. Third-party materials keep their own licences.

10. Confidentiality and data

We treat your business information as confidential and use it only to deliver the services. We process personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. We will sign a mutual NDA on request.

11. Third-party tools

We work in third-party tools, such as Google Search Console and Google Analytics, with your permission. Their terms apply to your use of them. We are not responsible for their availability.

12. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, and where the law does not permit limitation. For ordinary negligence, our liability is limited to the fees you paid for the package in the three months before the event. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or changes in rankings or traffic caused by search engines or third parties.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for future orders. The version in force when you order applies to that order.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, subject to mandatory provisions that give a consumer a different place of jurisdiction.

15. Prevailing language

These terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund and Cancellation Policy, the Cookie Policy and the Imprint are published in English, German and French. If the versions differ or a question of interpretation arises, the English version prevails.
